#137BeginnerStrings· Splitting and Joining

Name Initials

Write `initials(full_name)` that returns the initials of a name: the first character of every word, in upper case, each followed by a dot. Words are separated by any amount of whitespace, which may also appear at the start or end. A name with no words gives an empty string.

Input format

`full_name`: a string.

Output format

A string such as `"A.L."`.

Examples

Input: full_name = "ada lovelace"
Output: "A.L."
Two words give two initials, upper-cased.
Input: full_name = " Guido van Rossum "
Output: "G.V.R."
Extra spaces do not create empty words when you use `split()` with no arguments.

Constraints

  • 0 <= len(full_name) <= 200
